Forest Trail

Bears may be in this area so follow rules for hiking in bear country.

This site is a forested area adjacent to the Salmon River and includes the Forest Trail through the wooded area and the Salmon River Dike Trail that runs along the Salmon River. Although close to town, bears may be in this area so follow rules for hiking in bear country.

Directions:

From the center of Hyder, travel .3 miles west on 7th Street toward the Salmon River. At the end of the road is a dike along the Salmon River and also a trail heading south through the forest.
