Fish Creek Delta
The Fish Creek Delta is one of two Southeast Alaska Birding Trail sites in the Juneau area which provides access to the Mendenhall Wetlands complex. This site is a popular spot for birders and is a good location for birding during all seasons. Because of the diversity of habitats at this site, almost every bird species recorded on the greater Mendenhall Wetlands complex has also been seen at Fish Creek Park.
Directions:
From Juneau, travel across the Juneau-Douglas Bridge and take the first exit onto 3rd Street, or Douglas Highway. Head north for 7.3 miles to Wildlife Refuge Road and Fish Creek Park.
