Ferry Terminal

A good location for birding the marine waters of Zimovia Straight.

The Ferry Terminal is a good location for birding the marine waters of Zimovia Straight adjacent to the town of Wrangell. This is easily accessed by walking from many locations in town and is the dock used by Alaska Marine Highway System when stopping in Wrangell. Watch for: Surf Scoter, Pigeon Guillemot, Marbled Murrelet, Black-legged Kittiwake, Bonaparte’s Gull, Mew Gull, Glaucous-winged Gull and Bald Eagle.
