Overview
Since 1977 Audubon Alaska has been at the forefront of conserving Alaska’s natural ecosystems. As part of the National Audubon organization, our mission focuses on birds and their habitats (terrestrial and marine) as global indicators of ecosystem health. We also work on habitat conservation for other wildlife, such as salmon, caribou, Sitka black-tailed deer, beluga whales, polar bears, brown bears, ice seals, and walrus. Audubon Alaska and its extraordinary staff use sound science and innovative computer mapping techniques to seek proactive, collaborative, long-term solutions for the benefit of current and future generations.
While Audubon Alaska is part of the National Audubon Society (tax ID #13-1624102), our office is financially independent and we must raise the funds necessary to empower our field work every year. We need support from caring people like you to continue our work to protect the outstanding wild places of the Last Frontier. Please join us and consider a tax-deductible gift to Audubon Alaska today!
For gifts of stock or if you wish to discuss other gifts such as a bequest or other Planned Giving opportunities, please contact Audubon Alaska at (907) 276-7034 and we will be happy to answer your questions.
