The Nemo Loop Road starts at the end of the pavement on Zimovia Highway approximately 13 miles from Wrangell. This loop road has numerous recreation facilities including campsites, trailheads, and picnic areas.

The Nemo Loop Road (FS 6267) makes for a scenic drive with ocean views and access to interior forested habitats including mature forest areas, regenerating young-growth, and muskeg wetlands meadows. Watch for Orange-crowned Warbler and Pacific Wren. Rare birds include Band-tailed Pigeon and Three-toed Woodpecker.

Directions:

Starting at the end of the pavement on Zimovia Highway, the 14-mile Nemo Loop Road (U.S. Forest Service Road #6267) makes for a scenic drive with ocean views.

Trail Information:

The 0.5-mile (one-way) Nemo Saltwater Access Trail is accessed off of the Nemo Loop Road and provides beach and water access.
