Skagway Small Boat Harbor
The Skagway Small Boat Harbor area includes the docks within the small boat harbor and the harbor's breakwater. On the Ferry Terminal side of the harbor, there is a wave barrier and a rocky shore with a flat, grassy pathway on top. This site has easy walking on level ground around the harbor, along the rocky breakwater and the metal wave barrier with its catwalk. Look for Arctic Tern, Marbled Murrelet, Pigeon Guillemot, Common Loon, Glaucous-winged Gull, and a variety of waterfowl.
Directions:
From Pullen Pond, drive or walk towards the waterfront. Turn right for small boat harbor parking. Also, limited parking may be available at the Ferry Terminal. This area is less than a 1-mile walk from most places in downtown Skagway.
