Ketchikan Airport/Gravina Island
With approximately 175 bird species documented in the area around the perimeter of the Ketchikan International Airport and the marine waters in the adjacent Tongass Narrows, this birding site is a great birding spot close to town. Accessing the airport is part of the adventure and involves a short ferry ride across the Tongass Narrows.
