Gustavus Town Center
Gustavus is a small community of 450 people and is the gateway to Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. The community has accommodations for visitors including lodging and dining and numerous tour and guide businesses to help visitors explore the Glacier Bay area. The Salmon River runs through town and is a good spot for birding and wildlife watching in Gustavus.
Directions:
Fly to Gustavus Alaska airport and drive the main road to town or travel to Gustavus via the Alaska Marine Highway ferry system.
