Eagle's Roost Park
Eagle’s Roost Park is a site within the Petersburg Borough where Bald Eagles congregate in the trees to scan the waters of Wrangell Narrows for fish. This park has two picnic tables, a viewing platform, and benches. It is an excellent place to view eagles roosting in trees. Or take the trail down to the beach and watch for Pelagic Cormorant, Harlequin Duck, Barrow’s Goldeneye, gulls, or the three species of scoters and explore tidal pools at low tide.
