Why do we need to take action for the Arctic Refuge?
In his first days in office, President Biden bought us time to keep oil drills out of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. But his executive order is just a temporary fix. Drilling leases are still in the hands of oil companies, and another lease sale on the horizon. We need President Biden to work with Congress to make long-term protections for the Arctic Refuge a reality by taking legislative action now, before it’s too late.
Join us for a day of action on May 20, 2021 to tell our elected officials to seal the deal on Arctic Refuge protections once and for all!
