2021 Public Lands and Climate Change Intern

Julia joined Audubon in May 2021 for a summer internship. She grew up in Washington DC, and currently attends the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. There, she studies conservation policy and earth science. She has experience doing both policy research and hands-on conservation work. She is passionate about conserving public lands using science and policy.

Outside of the office, Julia enjoys crocheting, camping, and running. As a beginner birder, she is interested in learning more about Alaskan bird species.
