Voyage on an Icebreaker
Audubon Alaska's Landscape Ecologist Melanie Smith is serving as a seabird observer on board the U.S. Coast Guard icebreaker the Healy for three weeks, October 5-25. The ship departs from Dutch Harbor, in the Aleutian Islands, and will sail up to the Chukchi and Beaufort seas.
