Take the Teshekpuk Lake Cyber-Birding Challenge!

Watch our ten-minute video of the birds and wildlife of Teshekpuk Lake (just click on the sceenshot). Jot down the list of birds you see and hear in the video. Email us the list. If you get ten or more species right, we’ll mail you a prize, while supplies last.

Your prize is your choice of one of the following:

• A full-color, poster-sized wall map of the Important Bird Areas of Alaska, featuring original artwork by David Allen Sibley;
• Four blank notecards featuring beautiful Alaska photography by John Schoen; or
• The 2009 Alaska Migratory Bird wall calendar, featuring prize-winning art and poetry from kids across rural Alaska.

And for the hot-shot birders who correctly identify all bird species in the
video, we’ll send one grand prize!
