Audubon Alaska is a self-sustaining office that relies on a small staff and the generous support of friends like you. We need your help to ensure that Alaska’s birds, wildlife, and beautiful places last for generations to come. There are many different ways to support our work. Please join us!

1. Make a Cash Gift
You may send your donation by mail to:
Audubon Alaska

2. Join The Lucy and John James Audubon Society
Join our exclusive giving society. Designate your gift to Alaska, and receive membership benefits specific to our state. Click here for more information.
3. Make a Stock Gift
Make your gift in the form of stock or mutual funds to enjoy the added benefit of avoiding capital gains tax. For information about how to make a stock gift, please contact: Director of Development, Audubon Alaska (907) 276-7034.
4. Make a Planned Gift
Planned gifts provide lifetime income to donors in exchange for charitable gift annuities, gifts to a charitable remainder trust, or gifts to a pooled income fund. Donations may also be made through a donor’s will or retirement plan. In addition to helping Audubon Alaska with its important conservation objectives, your planned gift can help you earn guaranteed life income, while saving income and capital gains taxes. Click here to learn more about planned giving. All inquiries will be handled confidentially.

5. Employee Matching Gifts
Many employers will match the charitable contributions of employees. Ask your company’s human resources representative for a matching gift form, fill out your portion, and enclose it with your cash gift.
6. Living Tributes
Make a tax-deductible gift in honor or memory of a loved one. If you wish, we will notify the recipient or family of your thoughtful gesture. Please send us the person's name(s) and notification address printed clearly.
7. Participate in Birdathon
Wilder than a walkathon, Birdathon is the world's biggest bird-watching competition! Every year, thousands of people nationwide join us to count birds, have fun, and raise money for Audubon's mission of environmental conservation, education, and advocacy. Click here to learn more.
8. Become a Citizen Scientist
Help scientists track bird population data. Visit eBird to learn how -- it is easy, fun and helpful! Or, participate in one of Audubon’s many bird-watching events, such as our annual Christmas Bird Count.
Audubon Alaska is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization and all donations to our office are tax deductible.
